Happy Hounds Hotel and Day Spa LLC Policies

All Policies listed on the normal Guest Registration packet are still in effect with the following additions and changes. Any change made on this packet supersedes the policy information listed on the standard Guest Registration Packet.

Payment Policy – All Training services must be prepaid up front and in full at the time of booking. Payment can be made in person or over the phone.

Cancellation Policy – We require written notice of any cancellation of an existing training booking. Cancellations should be made at least 14 days before the first day of the scheduled training session. Any cancellation made before that time is eligible for a full refund. For any cancellation made with less than 14 days’ notice, the following penalties apply.

Cancellations made between 13 days and 7 days in advance are eligible for a refund, minus a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice are not eligible for a refund.

Missed Classes Policy – Consistency is an important factor in the success of a dog’s training. Pets are allowed one missed class during any scheduled training course. This class cannot be made up. A second missed class during the same course will lead to the expulsion of the client from that course with no eligibility for a refund.

Reschedule Policy – Rescheduling of private lessons requires 24-hour notice. Any notice not given 24 hours in advance will result in the loss of that lesson slot.

Family Attendance – When a family member’s attendance is required, an adult must be present. One adult is allowed per dog in a group class. Two adults are allowed per private session. One child age 12 or older may accompany the parent to classes.

Daycare and Train/Board and Train Requirements – All Daycare and Train (DaT) and Board and Train (BaT) customers must, in addition to meeting any guidelines for training, meet all requirements for daycare and boarding. These include, but are not limited to, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and temperament test requirements.

Pet Training Agreement and Policy

This is an agreement between Happy Hounds Hotel & Day Spa LLC and the pet owner. It cannot be altered in any manner. Any alteration of this agreement voids said agreement. Please initial our two policies.

1. Owner understands and agrees with all points listed under the Policies section below. This includes, but is not limited to, agreeing to pay the rate for pet training in effect on the date of booking. Reservations are required for training. This includes drop-off and pick-up times. Notification of a cancellation must be provided at least 14 days prior to the first day of the scheduled training session. We require all cancellations in writing and recommend cancelling via email. We will respond confirming your cancellation. Cancellations made after that time are subject to the penalties in the Cancellation Policy above. By initialing 1 you agree you have read and understand our cancellation policy and accept responsibility for all dates booked at Happy Hounds Hotel & Day Spa LLC even should you choose to shorten your pet(s) service after the cancellation periods have expired or should you fail to maintain necessary vaccinations required for your pet’s service.

2. Owner understands and agrees that they are responsible for their children during classes. Any child causing distractions during group classes may be asked to wait in the car at the trainer’s discretion. No children under the age of 12 are permitted to attend.
